Canducci and Epis set to take on competitive class

Facing new challenges for 2018, Team Kawasaki Go Eleven will welcome new riders to their line up next season, as Michael Canducci and Lachlan Epis are set to join the Italian team in the FIM Supersport World Championship.

20 year old Canducci has had a promising start to his career so far, and spent the season learning in the highly competitive class in 2016 – securing the fastest lap around MotorLand Aragon. The Italian has a strong record in the CIV championship with two race win, and is looking forward to joining the strong team atmosphere of Go Eleven.

Canducci explains: “This agreement fills me with joy, and I want to thank Go Eleven for giving me this opportunity, I saw in them a working group that puts the passion first, just like me, and I'm sure we can have a great season together. This will be my second year in the world championship, I learned a lot from my debut and will try to put into practice what I learned to be competitive every weekend.”

Alongside Canducci will be Australian Lachlan Epis, who makes his step into the team following two seasons in the WorldSSP championship. Only making the step to asphalt racing in 2013, the 18 year old is beginning to build a wealth of experience behind him and will be ready to take on the ZX-6R.

Epis adds:  “I am very excited to start the next chapter of my career with Go Eleven. I am very happy to be in a professional environment with a lot of knowledge and experience in the paddock. I believe that next year with Go Eleven and Kawasaki we can achieve some great results and this is extremely motivating for me. I am also glad to be continuing my relationship with Kawasaki and the ZX6R as I believe with the help of my new team we will have a package capable of fighting towards the front every round.”

Denis Sacchetti, Team Manager is delighted to announce his WorldSSP team line-up: “I am very motivated, with the arrival of Michael and Lachlan we now have an important season ahead. Both the riders know the Kawasaki ZX-6R well, Epis has riden it since 2015 and Canducci has already achieved several successes. We hope to helo Epis grow him and bring him to high ranking positions, while the goal with Canducci is to make the leap of quality and fight constantly at the front. We have a good technical package and it will be important to take advantage of it at 100%.”
